" I joined RC Deonar in July 2012 and there has been no looking back since then. For an Engineering student in the final year of college, my parents didn’t approve of joining a social club and today, they proudly talk about this with every single person they meet. It has introduced me to many people, given me memories that will never leave my mind, helped me grow, given me a safe place to express myself and more importantly, given me what I call home. The RC Deonar culture is unlike many other clubs and the 31 years of continuous Rotaraction stand testimony to the leadership that this club has to offer.
The club has helped me to utilise my weekends productively on various projects and meetings, to meet like-minded and a varied set of young professionals who have helped me shape my thoughts and build a network , professionally, got me this cool space I currently work at and helped me make meaningful connections and friendships.
Here are two memories special for me :-
The year 2013-14, when I was BOD member for two avenues, zonal co-ordinator and had the opportunity to chair X-pressions. That project will always be close to my heart!
The Presidential year 2015-16 is something that I will forever treasure. I believe that was the year which set up my growth and made me worthy enough to lead the Rotaract District movement for the year 20-21. "
